Scholarship Fund Information
The Dayton-Montgomery County Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance to help eligible students attend their first year of education at a college or university. The Dayton-Montgomery County Scholarship Program, founded in 1981, awards scholarships annually to students in participating Montgomery County high schools and to students who have received their GED equivalent during the current academic year.
Eligible students from the class of 2017, attending a 4-year college/university, will receive an award of $1,000. Eligible students, attending a 2-year college, will receive an award of $250.
All applicants must meet the following requirements:
- GPA – 2.5 or higher
- Senior graduating from a participating Montgomery County high school
- Resident of Montgomery County
- Plan to attend an accredited college or university on a full-time basis
- Demonstrate financial need
