WELCOME TO DAYTON-MONTGOMERY COUNTY SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
The Dayton-Montgomery County Scholarship Program provides financial assistance to help eligible students attend higher education at an accredited college or university. The Dayton-Montgomery County Scholarship Program, founded in 1981, awards scholarships annually to students in participating Montgomery County high schools who have received their high school diploma during the current academic year.
The Dayton-Montgomery County Scholarship Program awarded 405 scholarships to graduates of the Class of 2023.
364 renewable scholarships totaling $1,645,000 were awarded to students attending 4-year colleges and universities.
76 renewable scholarships totaling $38,000 were awarded to students attending community colleges and regional campuses.
The Class of 2023 scholarship recipients attending a 4-year college or university received a $5,000 total renewable scholarship.
The Class of 2023 scholarship recipients attending a community college or regional campus received a $500-$3,500 total renewable scholarship.
6 Ruth Richardson Memorial Scholarships, worth an additional $1,000, were awarded to recipients from each of the Dayton Public high schools.
Ruth Richardson awardees from Dayton Public Schools are eligible to receive the John E. Moore, Sr. Completion Scholarship.
To date, the Dayton-Montgomery County Scholarship Program has awarded over $23,900,000 to over 21,500 recipients.
