WELCOME TO DAYTON-MONTGOMERY COUNTY SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
The Dayton-Montgomery County Scholarship Program provides financial assistance to help eligible students attend their first year of education at a college or university. The Dayton-Montgomery County Scholarship Program, founded in 1981, awards scholarships annually to students in participating Montgomery County high schools who have received their high school diploma during the current academic year.
The Dayton-Montgomery County Scholarship Program awarded 793 scholarships to graduates of the Class of 2020.
615 scholarships totaling $659,500 were awarded to students attending 4-year colleges and universities.
178 scholarships totaling $44,500 were awarded to students attending community colleges and regional campuses.
The Class of 2020 scholarship recipients attending a 4-year college or university received a $1,000 scholarship.
The Class of 2020 scholarship recipients attending a community college or regional campus received a $250 scholarship.
6 Ruth Richardson Memorial Scholarships, worth an additional $1,000, were awarded to recipients from each of the Dayton Public high schools.
Ruth Richardson awardees from Dayton Public Schools are eligible to receive the John E. Moore, Sr. Completion Scholarship.
To date, the Dayton-Montgomery County Scholarship Program has awarded over $19,400,000 to over 20,400 recipients.
